Welcome.
My name is Brandon D'Eon. You've probably figured out by this point. So biography eh? Okay well let's see.
I started playing guitar when I was 10 years old because my dad played and exposed me to it. He tried to get me to learn when I was 5 but I was more interested in Super Mario Bros. What a fool I was. I started taking formal lessons when I was 12 and continued all through school until I was 18. From 13-18 I played in my school concert bands and jazz bands.
Once I graduated high school I went on to pursue a jazz guitar performance degree at St. Francis Xavier University. I was quickly humbled when I went to university because of all the amazingly talented guitar players around me. The 4 years I attended were some of the most fun and most challenging times of my life.
In 2017 I finished my degree. The music degree I worked so hard for... would do almost nothing for me professionally. Oops again. I already understood this so it was not a big deal. I started looking for ways to take what I've learned in school and do something with it. With people blowing up left and right on the internet, I decided to give it a shot. It worked.
From there, my goals shifted again. I was blowing up on social media which was fun, but I knew I could do more. Social media became too easy. I wanted a new challenge. 52 Week Guitar Player is actually a direct result of this thirst for a new challenge. I wanted to see how many guitarists I could help reach an advanced level of playing. I knew in order to do this I would have to create a massive in-depth program for them to follow in a sequential way.
Six Months later I completed the course and here we are. I now have a goal to help 100,000 guitarists reach a pro level of playing. I always achieve my goals. After I complete this goal, I do not know what is next. I haven't reached that point yet. Stay tuned.
Oh you're still here? Thanks for reading. I'm also super sarcastic, but you probably already knew that. Anyway I have nothing left to say. Okay bye.
